Pet Safety and Combat Roach Baits
When you have a roach problem, it’s important to tackle the task head on. Even though you need to be a top notch cockroach killer, you don’t want your pets to be caught in the crossfire. Although cockroaches don’t stand a chance against Combat roach baits, we do make sure to keep pet safety in mind. Combat’s formula is specially designed to entice and poison roaches without any effect on your furry friends.
Combat roach bait products were developed with a small amount of active ingredient in the formula. In order to ensure ultimate pet safety, be sure to use as directed.
- Until you are ready to use Combat roach baits, keep them stored in a safe place, away from pet access.
- Once you are ready to use roach baits, keep them in their original packaging. The poison is inside the bait station, which acts as a shield from your pets.
Although it’s not likely that your pets and cockroaches would visit the same areas, keep Combat roach baits away from areas your pets frequent (like their kennel or near food and water bowls). You don’t want your pet to mistake a bait station for a new toy! Instead, place Combat roach baits in areas like: under sinks, behind toilets, and behind appliances. These are areas where cockroaches are likely to pass by, and become infected with the poison.
If you’re concerned that your pet may have ingested a small amount of roach bait, Combat can help. In the event that a household pet ingested roach bait, please contact the Combat Information Helpline at 1-800-426-6228 or contact your personal veterinarian.
Use Combat roach baits with peace of mind that your pest control products will eliminate your cockroach problem while leaving your pets unharmed.
